Number of Players
The maximum number of players is 8v8 (seven players
on the field and a goalkeeper per team).
Roster Size
The maximum roster size is 16 players. The
recommendation is for a roster size of 14 players.
Field Dimensions
The field of play shall be rectangular, with
the recommended size for 8v8 being between
80-90 yards by 45-50 yards.
Markings
All field markings should be clearly visible
in a color that distinguishes it from other fields.
A penalty area of 36 yards (width) by 14 yards (length)
shall be clearly marked, with all other markings conforming
to FIFA standards. The penalty spot shall be 8 yards
from the goal-line. The center circle and penalty
spot shall have a radius of 8 yards.
Goals
The recommended goal size shall be 8x24 feet
or 7x21 feet. It is strongly recommended that
goals are not less than 6x18 feet. The field shall
be deemed playable as long as the goal on one side
of the field is equal in size to the goal on the other
side of the field.
Restarts
For all restarts opponents must be at least
8 yards from the ball.
The Ball
The ball shall be size four.
Duration of Play
The duration of play shall be 30-minute halves
with a 5-minute halftime.
Substitutions
The team in possession of the ball may substitute
on their throw-in. Either team may substitute on goal
kicks, injury, and kickoff.
